3. History of full-time faculty changes in the program (last 5 years)
4. Closed class count (need for expanding program offerings)
5. Impact on program if position not filled

Hiring Needs Assessment Process (Board Procedures)
A. Vice president convenes FHNA committee to review or revise criteria.
B. Division dean/faculty develop and submit ranked list of faculty hiring needs.
C. FHNA committee reviews ranked lists to develop a faculty hiring priority recommendation.
D. FHNA committee submits its priority recommendation to college president.
E. President meets with FHNA committee, if necessary to resolve differences.
F. President approves list of faculty positions – list is distributed to appropriate areas by V.P.
of Instruction.
